1. Slattery Sales Tip: Don’t trust prospects to do THIS

✨ Don’t trust your prospects to figure out what your value means for THEM.✨

They don’t have your expertise; they don’t have your experience. They don’t have the time or the bandwidth to do the work to translate what your awesome differentiation means to THEM.

If you wait for them to figure out what value your differentiators really have for them, you’ll be waiting an unnecessarily long time for your sales to move forward.

Complex sales are won on Differentiating Value (DV) – not just on Differentiators. To get there, you must translate your unique differentiation (the “D” of “DV”) into what that means to your prospects so you’re speaking their language – not yours.

Want to speed up your sales? Take the time to translate your Differentiating Value (DV) to your prospect’s world before your sellers ever hit the marketplace.

We offer a valuable exercise in Chapter 4 of our book, Wimp Junction®, to do just that – to translate your unique value into your prospect’s world.

If your sellers are using declarative sentences to talk about their stuff, then they’re not there yet. Help them finish the work of translation, so they can leverage your real value and win, even in highly competitive sales.
